Pulxaneeks - Eagle Clan - Xanuksiala / Xaisla First Nation
Pulxaneeks (Pul-ha-neeks) is from the Eagle Clan of the Xanuksiala First Nation and is a result of the village that raised her.
She is the Founder / Facilitator / Visionary & Consultant of “Heart to Heart - Indigenous Relationship Consultation” where she calls upon her lived Indigenous experience to offer insight & understanding.

Her path of being a Group Facilitator, Community-Oriented Organizer & Event Producer was sparked 25 years ago largely through the nature based cultural youth program called "Rediscovery" & has been applied in many heart'filled ways throughout her life.

Her background includes cultural based youth outreach with Indigenous youth who are considered ‘high risk’ in a wide variety of settings & environments, including nature-based, urban-based & school-based ~ She hass also done some Elder Care & Child Care.

Pulxaneeks was raised both in the Indigenous village she was born to as well as in & among the colonial construct of mainstream "Canadian" society. The work she offers of Indigenous Awareness Building comes from the unique understanding that has come from being exposed to both cultures. Rooted in her lived-Indigenous-experience, you're invited to see the results of her healing & integration process in all that she offers.

Pulxaneeks is a living, loving result of the coastal Indigenous village that raised her & all that survived in the lineage she was born to. She holds her hands up & honours the Elders, Auntys, Mentors & huge family whose love she is a living result of & the Ancestors whose strength & resilience is flowing through her veins.

To create opportunities for understanding & connection through workshops & presentations in regards to Indigenous Right Relationship Making & Ancestry Connection. I make big concepts & topics more approachable with emphasis on self accountability & supported integration.

Origin Story
of my business
It started as 'living room experiments' in 2015, what would happen if i told folks the truth about Indigenous People i'm afraid to tell them? These were by-donation, evening events where 5-10 of us gathered together in a living room as my co-facilitator & i shared from our hearts, our lived-Indigenous-experiences, the many truths & stories that needed to be heard. It was terrifyingly powerful & healing & very well received.

The first 20 or so times i did this, i almost didn't... to be faced with that much loving compassion from the hearts of the people in attendance at these little events was astounding. I remember having mild panic attacks in the backyard before walking into the living room, heart racing with the silence in need of breaking. Trembling through the "this is what you need to know" list we made & arriving on the other side of this stronger, more connected & more empowered in my Indigenous voice. At these events, we would often say "this is so amazing...we need a whole weekend, just an evening isn't enough".

A few years into this, i designed the first Weekend Long Deep Dive Intensive Workshop and from there it grew, continues to grow & evolve as the living creation it is.
